BED BUGS BAD SERVICE
May 30th. We checked in at approx 9:00, while waiting to be checked in by the empoyee and her obvious breast that she was happy to show, the cleaning employee had a trash bag situation and it took both of them several trys to get the right trash bag. Got checked in, not much help from the peanut gallery friend that was hanging out at the end of the counter and i was interupting his date.
Obviously had a party scheduled until 2:00 in the morning but was not told upon arrival.
Drinking, loud Music, public unrination, vehicle damange, gun exchange all in the parking lot. Party member went to the front desk and was told party was scheduled until 2:00 we should be able to sleep after that.
Party member ask for a refund and was told the employee could not do that, only the manager.
After 3 trips to the office and the local police showed up, they assisted a very drunk individual into his car and let him drive out into the road after falling drunk in front of them. When ask why they allowed him to drive in that condition, the officer repllied, "I can not arrest him, he is the wrong color" Yes, I was shocked.,
The party go-ers left and i went to the front desk to ask for a refund. Was told the same story about manager is only one that can give refund.
I politiely told him he could call manager, wake him up, or i will call officer to make a report and someone from Days Inn will give me a refund.
Funny, all of a sudden he COULD call the manager and wake him up.
Manager told him to tell me no refund. I told him i needed managers home address for the police report and manager ask what time I checked in and told employee to give me a refund. He kept my receipt.
2 other guest walked in behind me asking for refund as was not given anything.
When i returned to the room at approx 3:00 to load belongings, noticed small black bugs on the bed, pulled the covers back to find more.
I just happen to have a zoom lens on my camera equipment and could positively identify bed bugs.
I will contact the local health department and the Days Inn after the holiday, but will never return to another Days Inn.
